What drew you to join Delta Sigma Pi?
I am a very ambitious person who has really big dreams in life, and when I transferred to UC San Diego, I wanted to be part of a community of like-minded people. Delta Sigma Pi showed me that every single thing can happen as long as I have the motivation and the right people around me who can help me reach those goals.
How has Delta Sigma Pi enhanced your college career?
With Delta Sigma Pi I have grown in ways I could have never imagined. As soon as I became a brother, I met people who truly believed in me and encouraged me to follow my greatest passions. I can really say that the best memories and experiences I will have of college, from learning so much professionally to going on roadtrips, will be thanks to Delta Sigma Pi.
What field of business are you interested in and how has Delta Sigma Pi prepared you for professional work?
I am very interested in international economics and relations, and my greatest dream in life is to become a UN officer. Delta Sigma Pi has helped me develop strong public speaking skills, create long-lasting connections, and get professional experiences that have definitely prepared me to achieve that goal.
What is your favorite aspect of Delta Sigma Pi that not many people know about?
I love the brotherhood and that you instantly feel accepted at the moment you become a brother. The chapter has brothers with some many different talents that I learn something new each day.
How has becoming Chancellor's Guild impacted your college experience or career aspirations?
Becoming a founding member of the Chancellor's Guild has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college career. Being one of the 10 members who serve as the face and voice of UCSD has definitely been a challenge, but I have learned so much about both personal skills and professionalism like networking and public speaking that will really help me succeed in everything I do after college.
