Describe your internship in one sentence.

It's interesting on a day to day basis and you learn a lot; so it kind of makes the long hours not feel as long.

What does your day-to-day look like?

Wake up at 6:30AM, get ready, go to work, come back anywhere between 8pm-10pm. There's not really set hours, if you have work then you have to stay until it's done.

What is your favorite part of the company culture?

My bosses talk a lot so it's nice not being the person who talks the most for once.

How has Delta Sigma Pi prepared you for your internship?

I wouldn't have gotten the internship without it. I may have had the skills to get the job, but the advice and networking skills I gained through DSP are the reasons I got the internship.

What is the most valuable takeaway you’ve gained from your internship?

Patience and dedication. Working AT LEAST 10 hours every day is tiring.

Do you have any advice for people who want to get into the field of investment banking?

It's tiring but if you're driven and if you're willing to put in the work you’ll enjoy it. It's very lucrative and rewarding.

How might your internship help you in your new position as VP Finance?

It'll help me in two ways:

1) I'm so much more organized and to be VPF you need to be organized or everything will be lost.

2) It's teaching me how to be persistent and raise capital when you need it.
